Adopt a Sanctuary animal

By adopting a furry (or feathered) friend from the Sanctuary, you will be changing the life of a homeless pet and taking part in a lifesaving movement to Save Them All.

On any given day, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, located in Kanab, Utah, is home to up to 1,600 animals, including dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, pigs and others. Many of these animals come to the Sanctuary for extra care and healing until they are ready for new homes.

Sponsor a Sanctuary animal

When you sponsor a homeless pet at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, you help that animal in ways that can’t even be counted.

Sponsorship helps animals find loving homes, provides low-cost spay/neuter programs, supports legislative and advocacy efforts that save the lives of pets, and much more.

Sponsorships make great gifts for the animal lovers in your life. With a gift of $25 or more, you can send a special e-card or download a printable card that lets your loved ones know all about the pet they’ve sponsored and the lifesaving impact of their sponsorship.

Become a Best Friends member

When you become a member of Best Friends, you’ll help save the lives of pets in shelters across the nation.

Your membership gift goes to work immediately to providing the animals at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary with the medical and emotional care they need. You’ll also support lifesaving programs around the country, including adoption, spay/neuter and foster programs

Memberships also help end breed-specific legislation, which takes dogs away from loving families; stop puppy mills; and keep community cats safe and out of shelters through trap-neuter-return (TNR) programs.

When you become a member, you’ll receive a one-year subscription to Best Friends’ bimonthly magazine, lodging discounts when you visit the Sanctuary, invitations to events around the country, and newsletters and email updates to keep you in the loop.
