I am a freelance journalist and Best Friends Network Volunteer team leader and I'd be happy to contact some of my journalist friends at other media outlets with the Best Friends message about this company and their misuse of Best Friends' name. I will be out of town July 6-12 but am willing to do whatever you think might help stop this process, and this company.

I agree. Some heros on my list would be the founders of Best Friends whose perseverance made this wonderful organization what it is today. No capes or masks necessary.

I think it is absurd that Good Morning America would be so foolish to allow this individual and their horrific company ANY air time. Maybe they should invite Mr. Mountain to discuss the "REAL" story behind this company and their name.

If they were going to steal a name, they should have stolen it from the fictional company who had the same idea, in the movie "The 6th Day". The company was called Re-Pet. Either way, you're totally right. It will not work, and they are exploiting both the people and the animals. Despicable.

I recently visited Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and our car broke down just outside of St. Geroge on Sunday at 5pm. We called Tri-City Auto. The owner and his wife came and picked us up. Nice people in St. George!

thank you best friends for making this unbelievable effort to educate young children, growing up in these types of neighborhoods, about dog fighting and its link to abuse and drugs and violence. i wish there were more programs in new york city!!!
